Caring for your Tank
Regular checks on fuel levels will help to gauge the average use of a specific timeframe. This will also help to find any leads in the tank if you believe the level is going down too quickly – bunded tanks will retain any lost liquid in this event.
You may also want to consider concealing your tank, dependent on its location. Fencing off the tank, or planting hedging around it, will keep the tank off limits to anyone that you don’t want to tamper with it. Covering any external pipes and fuel lines will also help to prevent damage to the tank from adverse weather and curious wildlife, as well as averting injury to anybody walking past.
